Murray Hing is Managing Director and head physio of Flexa Group. Murray holds a Masters in Musculoskeletal/Manipulative Physiotherapy with 1st Class Honours and a Post Graduate Degree in Acupuncture with 1st Class Honours. Murray has practiced for 30 years and is considered a leading practitioner. His first physiotherapy clinic was opened in 1983, a three bed clinic in Northcote.
Since then, he has built a world-class facility with a team of more than 30 and a ground breaking approach to Physiotherapy rehabilitation, lifestyle health and fitness. He has an interest in treatment of complex musculoskeletal issues, major trauma and surgery and is an expert in migraine and headache treatment.
He also has an interest in Strength and conditioning physiotherapy for the elite athlete to enhance sports performance.
Murray trains and treats numerous leading athletes including leading world ranked tennis players, Olympians, kayakers, triathletes, golfers, and Dancers His musculoskeletal migraine and headache clinic is a first of its kind in New Zealand and Internationally. The clinic offers preventative treatment for chronic tension headaches, chronic neck and back pain and migraine headaches. Flexa was the first clinic globally to combine clinical Botox treatment with physiotherapy and musculoskeletal posture modalities, to successfully correct and reduce migraine headache frequency and intensity. Murray’s personal interests are in Tennis, Martial Arts, and lifestyle health and fitness.

Helen graduated from AUT in 2003 and joined Flexa in 2011 after living and working overseas in Australia and the UK.
She has worked in several sports disciplines including AFL, triathlons and club rugby.
Helen is experienced in real time ultrasound, clinical Pilates, chronic headaches and migraines and is a STEEL certified oncology physiotherapist.
She is passionate about helping others live to their fullest potential. Whether that’s keeping up with the grandkids, running a marathon or simply maintaining independence. She will help you through recovery but also look beyond to prevention and believes in a holistic approach for true lifestyle health.
Outside of work Helen enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 toddlers, as well as keeping fit and active.

Jessica is passionate about empowering patients, through a collaborative approach to achieve successful outcomes. With over a decade in musculoskeletal practice and with a personal interest in yoga, strength training, and running, Jessica approaches therapy with a holistic and well-rounded approach.
Originally from Vancouver, Jessica graduated from Simon Fraser University (Canada) with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology (2008), and subsequently graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2015 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Since graduating, Jessica has completed courses in Dry Needling, Yoga therapy and more recently, pelvic health, enabling her to create a multifaceted approach to treatment plans.
Jessica has worked at Flexa Clinic since 2015 and is an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist with a comprehensive history treating patients from lifestyle goals, to acute injuries to long standing conditions. As well as volunteering for local rugby and football clubs in both Canada and New Zealand, Jessica has experience working with clients from recreational athletes to elite performers. She has a clinical interest in migraines, hip and knee pathologies. As a new mum to two young boys, Jessica has a new found interest in helping women in their journey in all trimesters and beyond where she also works as a pelvic health physio in Mt Eden.

Blaithin graduated from University College Dublin in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. She proceeded to work in Skerries Physiotherapy Practice in Dublin, where she developed her hands on skills under the guidance of a senior physio. She has also worked in a nursing home teaching exercise classes and providing mobility assessments for a wide variety of conditions. In 2019, Blaithin completed STOTT Intensive Matwork Pilates training and uses techniques learnt from this as part of her physiotherapy practice. Blaithin arrived in New Zealand in April 2021 and has been working for Flexa Clinic since then.
Blaithin enjoys incorporating a holistic approach to help her patients achieve their goals.
In her spare time Blaithin enjoys keeping active through yoga, Pilates, resistance training and outdoor activities. Blaithin also enjoys singing and playing traditional irish music.

Allison graduated from university College Dublin in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy. She moved to Auckland in August 2021 and before this she spent nearly 3 years working in a private practice in Kilkenny, Ireland. During this time she worked with a wide variety of patients, as well as with some Gaelic sports teams. Allison is also a Pilates instructor after completing STOTT intense mat Pilates course in 2018, and she enjoys teaching classes as well as using Pilates' techniques as part of treatment for her clients.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys keeping active though Pilates, hiking and running.

Born and raised in the capital of Canada; François completed his Masters of Health Sciences (MHSc) in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2019. Previously, he had obtained his Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa in 2017. Francois takes great pride in providing client centred care and tailoring each treatment plan to the individual's unique needs and personal goals. His approach to rehabilitation aims to optimize physical wellbeing through a combination of manual therapy techniques, specific exercise prescription and up-to-date education on injury management and prevention. Francois is passionate about improving his client’s quality of life, whether it’s helping them achieve their sports specific goals or daily tasks.
Shortly after graduating from his Master’s degree, he obtained his Manuel therapy certificate (Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Level 1 and 2), as well as the Level A: The Lumbar Spine MDT course. Francois strives to constantly improve his skillset and has pursued the Functional Dry Needling program through Acupuncture Canada and more recently taking some exercise prescription courses.
As a true Canadian, Francois is fluently bilingual in both French/English and grew up passionate about sports and physical activity; he played competitively hockey, football and skied. As a result, he has significant experience treating sport-related injuries, as well as creating personalized fitness programs and sport specific rehabilitation. In his free time, Francois enjoys travelling, hiking, running and training for triathlons.

In April of 2021, he joined the Flexa team, and has never looked back. Eddie has a keen interest in sports and lifestyle related musculoskeletal injuries and enjoys using exercise rehabilitation in conjunction with manual therapy to help patients meet their goals.
Outside of physio, Eddie enjoys gardening, listening to music, and lifting weights, sometimes all at once!

Hannah graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2022. This area of health care was of interest to Hannah after spending many years involved in ballet and training and competing in Artistic gymnastics to a National level. Both disciplines required a high degree of physical exercise involving strength, flexibility, coordination and endurance as well as dedication.
Her career choice was settled after observing Physiotherapists working with patients to regain movement and mobility at the Auckland Brain Unit.
Hannah has a passion for helping people and is known for her friendly and approachable demeanor. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life.
